DC Housing Market Back to Full Strength

So says my buddies at Delta Associates....


“The news is pretty remarkable. The market is in full recovery, with prices up like they were in the early 2000s,” said Greg Leisch, the firm’s chief executive. 


“We’re back to bidding wars, multiple contracts, sellers cherry-picking what kind of financing they want to work with,” said Morgan Knull, an agent with Re/Max who deals with properties in the District and its suburbs. “I can’t think of anywhere I’d rather be selling real estate right now than in the Washington, D.C., area. It’s kind of a golden place to work right now.”

Off to the Races in Chevy Chase......FINALLY.

AND.......They're off......

After much dilly dally and delay in Montgomery County and Park & Planning, we finally will be picking up our building permit for the first home at Village Twins, our perfectly located new homes just off Connecticut Ave in the Village of North Chevy Chase.

Picture this:: pre-colored Hardie batten board siding, natural stone accents, pre-cast concrete window sills plus a champagne standing seam metal roof all on a super quiet avenue in fancy Chevy Chase. Does living near DC get any better?

Sean Ruppert & City First Bank of DC Finalize Financing for Naylor Court Stables

We are proud to announce:: City First Bank of DC will provide the development and construction financing for our most exciting project to date: The Stables @ 10th & O. After interviewing four local banks we have selected City First Bank.  The deciding factor:: our Loan Officer, the Loan Committee and the Board of Directors were all just as excited about the project as we are.  They believe, as we do, The Stables will be an integral part of continuing and extending the revitalization of the Shaw and Logan Circle neighborhoods. City First Bank has a long history in our Nation's Capitol of lending money in neighborhoods where growth is strong and return on investment is assured. We plan to continue that track record with The Stables.
Demolition of the existing structure will occur this summer followed by construction of the new homes this fall.
