We Love Progress on MacArthur Blvd.

It's unbelievable the number of people who know Cabin John Crossing. It's even more astonishing the kind words people share with me about how much they love the homes and are grateful for the creativity used in their design.  I could not agree more. CJC has become one of our proudest accomplishments and we are just 30 days from completing the final home......for our own use.

Concrete siding now complete. We need better weather to paint the fun colors we have chosen.  (see below)

After testing 14 colors on the side of the home, I have settled on Sherwin Williams Meditative.  Here's the entire exterior color palette:: white trim, white batten-board at the sun room, carriage house and bay windows, Meditative lap siding and silver standing seam metal roof.

Our new selection of kitchen pulls.  Saw these in the movie Something's Gotta Give.  If you haven't seen the movie, rent it just to see the house.

That's some entry hall.  All interior doors will be painted dark gray.  Hopefully there's enough room here for Big Wheel Races.

OPaL's First Home in Chevy Chase Completed

Our first home at Village Twins of Chevy Chase is now
complete and will be held open next weekend.

Super creative use of space at the top of the stair tower.....a handy study and reading nook.

You know we never do formal dining! Therefore we offer an oversized nook with table space for 10 guests.

A classic coastal elevation:: batten-board siding, standing seam metal roof plus stone accents.

Our new take on the master bath:: retro tile, seamless glass shower enclosure,
steeply pitched ceiling plus classic sconces. Just perfect!

Parker (aka the P in OPaL) Loves the Guest House

Obviously, this d-o-g thinks the guest house in our new model home is ALL HIS. He's got some schooling to do.
He's still the best dog in the universe, for sure!

39 Up = 40 New Towns & Single Family Homes Just Steps to Metro

The unbelievably creative team from One Eighteen in Los Angeles has created an edgy and sophisticated name and logo for OPaL's latest project in Montgomery County. 39 Up, named for the Latitude of the site, “up” refers to North in the latitude. The navy blue '39' reflects the traditional side of the National Capital Region. While the tangerine 'Up' echos the unconventional style of the buyers we expect will appreciate the contemporary homes OPaL plans to build on the site.

Located at the entrance to the Westfield Wheaton Shopping Mall and just blocks from the Wheaton Metro who could ask for anything more convenient?

With our marketing company and architect both hailing from the Left Coast we hope to continue to bring fresh ideas to a predictable industry in the National Capital Region.
