Photographers and Architects are My Favorite Artists

Check out the new image of the kitchen at Morton Street Mews by one of my favorite photographers: Maxine Tusa Schnitzer

Seriously, is this the most amazing kitchen you've ever seen in a DC new home?  It's just about perfect.

Can I Quote You?

Let me share some of the nice comments people have said while touring our homes at Morton Street Mews::
  • "Best new homes I've ever seen"
  • "The finishes are outstanding"
  • "Who's the architect? Everything is so thoughtfully done."
  • "Umm, how am I  supposed to go back to my ordinary home after this?"  My personal favorite.
  • "This bathroom is straight out of a Four Seasons Hotel" Well, I actually said this, but it still counts because it's true.

Master Bath with Kohler fixtures, porcelain sinks and a ton of granite and marble! Really is like a room at the Four Seasons.

Hmmm, a master bath with a private water closet and even a linen closet....WOW!

Even the towel bars are handsome!  That's so OPaL

LIFE'S TOO BIG FOR ONE LEVEL

Our December soft open at Morton Street Mews has been very successful; almost sad to see it end with nearly 300 people having visited our model homes over the past 3 weekends.  However, we are all excited for our Grand Opening on Thursday, January 7th. Stop by from 7-9pm for a glass of wine. Can wait to see everyone and celebrate OPaL's latest project in DC.

A Note From A Friend

A very kind note from one of the most successful realtors in DC.  Not only is he a very busy agent he is also the father of three young girls and married the best guy in town.

I wont be putting this blog post on OPaL's Facebook but still wanted to share it more quietly. Jeff is a wonderful guy and exemplary agent.

Step by Step. Inch by Inch. Watkins Alley by OPaL.

Last night the Zoning Commission of Washington, DC unanimously voted to allow our Watkins Alley project to move forward with the PUD process.  Fingers crossed for this once in a lifetime opportunity to develop 44 industrial styled, family-sized homes within a terrific network of alleys on the Hill.

Two rows of 4 level, 3-4 bedroom townhomes create an interior courtyard.

Eastern Courtyard.

Northern Courtyard and condo building looking into the Eastern Courtyard.

The jewel of our project: a 10' wide, 1 bedroom carriage house.  The perfect alley dwelling in the Hill.

Almost Ready to Introduce Morton Street Mews by OPaL

Our super talented ad agency, photographer and copywriter have created brochure material that perfectly tells the story of Morton Street Mews by OPaL. Our new homeowners will be some very lucky people. Can you imagine living in the biggest new homes sold within three zip codes and still just a few blocks from restaurants, bars, two Metros and a future Whole Foods!? Does DC living get any better??
