Found this terrific blog post on UrbanTurf about the future of commercial and residential development on DC alleys.  The Stables, our future project on an alley, even got a shout-out.

Our Magic Cube Arrived Today.

We received a special package today containing our Best in American Living Award, our very first national award for architecture. It's even pretty, and you know we like pretty.
We need to find a special place for this one.

9th Street NW, the New 'It' Boulevard?

City Center at 9th and H Streets NW

Naylor Court Stables is perfectly wedged between 9th and 10th Streets NW, just off O Street.  Check out this post about 9th Street from one of our favorite DC blog, UrbanTurf::

Icing on a Cake, Bow Tie with a Tux

Just like icing or a bow tie, landscaping makes a new home complete.  Shown above is just one idea of how a well thought out landscape plan would blur the line between the indoors and outdoors on our final home at Cabin John Crossing.

Flowering trees surround the sunroom while terraced patios and walkways visually extend the breakfast nook and great room. Does living just off the Potomac River and C&O Tow Path get any better?

Third Home @ Cabin John Crossing Breaks Ground

                                                     Day #3:: Footers (looking south)

                                                Day #4:: Foundation walls (looking north)

January 2012 has been very mild, allowing us move quickly with the third home at Cabin John Crossing.  We may just break our 3 1/2 month record in completing this home.  Expect this MacArthur to be completed in April or May.
